This is Maya, a beautiful rescue girl 🐾

Her very first grooming experience (before me) sadly wasn’t a good one, and it left her terrified of the whole process. So when she came in for her first groom with me, she started off screaming the place down 🙉. But with patience, calmness, and a lot of reassurance, the screams soon turned into a bit of dramatic protest barking — which actually made me laugh because she was being so cheeky 😅.

Slowly but surely, she realised she was safe. Together we worked through the groom, and Maya was brave enough to let me complete everything ✨. By the end, she was calm, looking gorgeous, and most importantly — feeling relaxed with no anxiety 💕.

I’m so proud of her (and a little bit proud of myself too 🥹). Her mum was chuffed — and rightly so!

Meet Ellie 💕 the 7-year-old Old English Sheepdog who has been turned away by other groomers, but today… we did it! ✂️🐾

Ellie came in with some mats and a big reputation, but what she really needed was patience, understanding, and someone to listen to what she was trying to tell me. She was very clear about what she didn’t like (and even clearer when something hurt 😅), but with a bit of trust-building, adapting my approach, and lots of encouragement, we got her looking and feeling amazing.

She’s been through a lot, and a lot of her reactions come from fear, not naughtiness. The fact she let me finish her groom – and left happy, tail wagging, and comfy – honestly melted my heart. 🥹💕

🐾 Baby Rolo update! 🐾

Can you believe this little pug has doubled in size in just 6 weeks?! He’s currently rocking the “long legs, tiny head” look 🤣 but don’t worry, he wears it well 💁‍♂️

He is the ultimate baby – wants to be held, cuddled, kissed and if I dare put him down, he’s straight back up again like a furry boomerang 🥰

He’s smashing his puppy grooms, super confident, not scared of anything… except maybe missing out on hair snacks off the floor 😅 (Rolo, stop eating the evidence!!)

Max had his first groom today with Siobhan, and she has done a fantastic job with him. He is an older boy with a skin condition and dodgy legs. She took really good care of him, putting the air conditioning on and letting him lie down when needed. His fur is short now for the summer, and he looks so much more relaxed and comfortable. I couldn't recommend her any more highly and we will definitely bring Max back again for baths and grooms.
